Join professional and Japanese speaking cycle guide Richard Pearce and cycling expert Chris Yeo for a journey through the beautiful Cotswold region of England. Richard, who is now based in Tottori in rural Japan, spent the first 24 years of his life here and looks forward to showing you the highlights and hidden gems of his hometown area. The Cotswolds, famous for its honey-coloured limestone villages and wool towns, is the embodiment of 'olde worlde' rural England. The excellent countryside lane network and relatively gentle terrain (with some nice hills of course!) make it the perfect place to explore on two wheels. Local pubs, cream teas, beautiful woodland roads, stunning views, world famous architecture and more awaits you.

リチャード・ピアスが企画とガイドし、クリストファー・ヨがサポートするイギリスのサイクリングツアーにいらっしゃいませんか？　鳥取県の静かな山里に暮らすリチャードですが、このコッツウォルズ地方で24歳まで暮らしました。そんなリチャードが企画する、知らせざるイギリスの村の素晴らしさ、美しさをお伝えしたいと考えています。

羊毛の町としても知られるコッツウォルズですが、多くの人を魅了するのは「昔ながらのイギリス世界」です。蜂蜜色の石灰岩の家並みの村を離れると、道は緩やかに丘を越えて。次の村へと続いていきます。自転車という乗り物があれば、どっぷりとその風景を堪能できるでしょう。

クリームティー、世界的に有名な建築物なども、もちろん見逃せません。夜はローカルなパブに繰り出し、地元の人たちと大いに楽しみましょう。

For those flying in from overseas, transfers from London Heathrow Airport, can be arranged to the tour meeting point in the Cotswolds. Here we will stay at a charming, traditional English Inn for three nights. We will spend the next three days exploring this beautiful and quiet corner of the region, taking in the beautiful market towns of Castle Combe, Tetbury and Malmesbury, as well as the charming villages of Leighterton, Westonbirt, Badminton and more. 

For the second-half of our Cotswolds adventure we will be based near the "Capital of the Cotswolds", Cirencester and in Moreton-in-Marsh. These are the perfect locations for exploring the most famous sites of the North Cotswolds including Bourton-on-the-Water, Bibury, Northleach and Stow-on-the-Wold. 

ツアーの集合地は、ロンドン・ヒースロー空港です。そこから専用車で乗って、サウス・コッツウォルズのグリッテトン村に移動します。この伝統的なB&B（ベッド＆ブレックファスト）に3泊し、そこをベースに周辺をサイクリングします。

この3日間では、伝統的なウール産業のテットベリーとマルメスベリーの美しい街並み、ウェストンバート、バドミントンなどの魅力的な村を訪れます。自転車ならではの機動力を生かして、この地域の美しくも、知られざるスポットを探検します。

コッツウォルズサイクリングの後半は、サウス・セルニーに移動します。広大なビューティフル・コッツウォルズ・ウォーター・パークのエリアにある豪華なスパホテルに拠点を置きます。 ボートン・オン・ザ・ウォーター、バイブリー、ノースリーク、ストウ・オン・ザ・ウォルドなど、北コッツウォルズの魅力的なポイントを探索するのに最適な場所です。

イギリス滞在最終日の前日の午前は、ローマ時代の町、サイレンセスターの町を探索します。その後、専用車でロンドンのヒースロー空港近くの宿泊施設に移動します。夜のロンドンもたっぷり楽しみましょう。

Total distance:          Approx 400 kms. Average 45 miles per cycling day.

Tour Difficulty:        Moderate. Some training or experience beneficial. 

Group Size:                6 – 12, plus staff

Tour duration:          9 days, 8 nights

Accommodation:    Shared twin room with member of same sex. 
                                    Stay in Traditional Inns.
